Now it shows as "Display device on Mobile #2 always comes out with proper resolution but #1 will not change and is less than #2. Tried selecting various monitor types within the driver. Video card (ATI HD 7570) and monitor drivers.
Then I uninstalled all monitor and video card drivers, rebooted, reinstalled the This did not change the resolution of #1 even though they both now showed as S24D300. I reinstalled the driver for the monitors to have them match in display properties. Type shown in display properties for #1 was incorrect as Generic PnP Monitor. I swapped them back so they are now in the correct order in display properties but the resolution on #1 is not the same as #2 though the (Samsung S24D300) monitors are identical. I checked display properties and found them swapped around. #1 is the primary to the left and #2 is the secondary located to the right. Its a clients PC so I must be conscience of what I can show.I have a customer who started up his Dell 9010 desktop PC today and noticed that the resolution on both monitors was not the same and that #1 and #2 were swapped. I will post some screenshots and maybe some video. Am I hitting the limits of the Intel 620 graphics chip or is running two displays with different aspect ratios and different resolution an impossibility ? I guess the main issue is that the Samsung acts like a 1080p display when cloning but when I extend the display everything it running at its native resolution.
I have received similar results on similarly spec'd PC's in my testing and troubleshooting so I tried setting a custom resolution in the Intel graphics tool but when I applied the setting, I get the message "Maximum bandwidth exceeded for this display" I also tried the scaling option but then it screwed up both displays. Another thing to note is when both displays are connected, the Samsung reports its max resolution at 1920x1080 with no option to raise the resolution in windows. When I duplicate this monitors in the display setting, the Samsung TV letter boxes its image or it stretches the image instead of cleaning scaling it. The displays connected to this PC is are an ultrawide Acer 3840x1600 and a Samsung 4K 3840x2160. So I have a computer with an Intel 630 integrated graphics on a 7th gen Intel core i7, The PC is a Lenovo Thinkcentre tiny running win 10 64 bit (might be an m93p model).
